This past weekend we traveled back down to West Chester for Taryns college graduation. We had a free nights stay at a Marriott that was going to expire by the end of the month, so we decided to go to Atlantic City Saturday night. My parents watched Elias for us and off we went. A few days before our trip I looked online to see if there were any shows playing while we were there, and Lets Make a Deal was one of them. After checking into the fab hotel and walking around forever trying to find somewhere to eat, we eventually got to the show. The host was supposed to be Alan Thicke, but upon arrival learned he going to show up. So our host ended up being Joey Fatone (Nsync). It was really fun! They called three Kevins, and each time we held our breath, but no Kevin Lance :( It was really fun though! We passed the Hoff on our way out, which was kinda crazy...people were going nuts! Then we went around the casino, played a little blackjack, which I was pretty good at might I add! We decided we're most likely never goint back to Atlantic City. SOO trashy. I guess I didnt expect a place that grosses billions of dollars to be so run down. The redeeming part of the whole trip though was Sunday morning when we drove down to Ocean City, got Mack and Mancos for lunch and then got a giant bucket of Johnsons Caramel Popcorn to take home.
Monday, Taryn graduated from Lehigh University. CRAZY! We celebrated with a big dinner at Maggianos..mmm! She's flying in on Saturday and will be here for a week until her and I drive back home to West Chester. Were looking forward to lots of Memorial Day sales, maybe some beach trips, and of course tons of good food.
